Devine Independent School District (Devine ISD) provides education for students from Pre-K through 12th grade, with a strong commitment to academics, athletics, and community.
Even though the Devine School District is not part of the city government, we would like to express our sincere appreciation for such a well managed center for education.
The school district began in 1882 and included the community schools of Biry, Blackcreek, BigFoot, and Shookville, prior to consolidation. Presently, the district covers an area of 237 square miles and has an enrollment of approximately 1,978 students, housed on four campuses.
